Promises Kept: Government's NKRA Surpasses Its Target

Promises Kept: Government's NKRA Surpasses Its Target

Annoucement made by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak regarding the annual report for GTP and ETP 2012 would definitely gain its respect from opposition supporters.

The report should have been able to open their eyes and hearts if they do believe in facts instead of lies.

This is in regards to the success of all of government's NKRA which manages to show great results, following all target which has been set. Each line which was stated by the Prime Minister yesterday, is the proof that BN manages to keep all the promises made to rakyat.

This is in line with the government's theme, 'Promises Kept', as well as the slogan 'People First, Performance Now'. Unlike the opposition with their 'Manifesto Is Not Promise' where they can only write in 'hopes and dreams', only to break it in the end.

The annual GTP and ETP 2012 report yesterday proves that the transformation implemented by the government has come to a success. Every information was gathered and studied, and presented to rakyat to show the government's transparency in providing factual truth.

What is more interesting, as the opposition claim that the government spends too much to raise Gross National Income (GNI), it still manages to show 49% increase after three years. Despite of the bad global economy, the country's growth for the past three years surpasses the global average. 7.2% 2011 and 5.2% 2012.

Not just that, Malaysia's national poverty also shows decline from 3.8% in 2009 to 1.7% in 2012. The country's inflation rate also remains low at 1.3% as at January 2013.

The government led by Datuk Seri Najib also manages to create 438,000 job opportunities from 2011-2012. 106.967 people managed to be registered under 1Azam programs to raise their economic status and 89% or more than 100,000 of those who registered under E-Kasih managed to get out of poverty within three years.

Even though the opposition kept on saying that BN/UMNO is corrupt, unsafe etc., crime index which was presented showed decline as much as 27% for the past three years. Even the Corruption Perception Index ranking ran by Transparency International showed our country went up by six places from 54th place in 2012 where 1,172 convicted offenders were published in MACC website.

Overall, the opposition only throw in claims, only to create hate sentiments among rakyat, however, the fact is, every each and one of those claims are baseless.

With all data presented yesterday, it shows that the government really want to provide the best service for rakyat.
