Anwar Ibrahim is now raging mad‚ many of the oppositions‚ petition to nullify the poll results in several state and parliamentary constituencies have been thrown out of court.
Labeling the dismissals as “hideous and shameful" decisions that have tainted the country judiciary, Anwar said the decisions by the judges were illogical.
He added that the opposition would only think of its next course of action after it had exhausted all legal avenues to challenge the May 5 general election results.
The judiciary has painted a worrying picture as by dismissing these applications without proper basis was irresponsible, he said during a press conference at the PKR headquarters in Tropicana.
It comes as no surprise. It is only a surprise if Anwar is to accept the decisions whole heartedly and of course, this will not happen.
For a man who is so near to his goal but so far, he will not rest until he gets what he wants and by now, knowing that getting to his goal is already too impossible, he will not allow the ruling government rest in peace.
He has other plans to bring down Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak given that almost all his plans did not work since 2009.
No one knows his next course of action but everyone knows that he is still active in wanting to get rid of Najib as Prime Minister, still active in re-living and adding new items to old issues to make them look fresh and relevant.
To Anwar, the Prime Minister post is his lifetime ambition and if he does not get it, he would want his daughter Nurul Izzah to get it.
He would not allow anybody else to the Prime Ministership as that post is his life and his obsession and if he could not get it, he would make sure his children gets it.
He would not even allow his loyal partner and supporter Azmin Ali to sit in that position.
And this is what is going to happen in the party Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) where its poll is to be held early next year.
Like it or not, Anwar will not allow an outsider a non-family member to even be the party president.
The party, as far as he is concerned, is his family heritage and no one should be allowed to head or lead it except his family members.
Sounds the same as the DAP, the party of PKR, where the party belongs to the Lim family and no one can take it away from them.
Thus, the PR has two parties that are family-owned PKR and DAP and PAS is just an extension of the two parties to rally Muslim votes.
Thus, Anwar has other plans if all litigations fail. He will not allow Najib and the government to rest in peace.
