PORT DICKSON, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- The RM964 million
International Maritime Gateway tourist project in Port Dickson, a wholly-owned
Bumiputera project, is expected to be completed within three years.
The project is expected to generate a gross development value
of RM2.2 billion.
"It does not involve any reclamation work, but work is
already underway in stages and we have appointed a contractor for the
excavation works.
"Although the project is scheduled for completion in
three years, we will finish it as soon as possible.
"It's a tourist-based service industry project,"
Managing Director Mohd Azman Ahmad told reporters at the launch of initial
works for the project which would be sprawled over 5.97 hectares.
